This plectrum was cut from 18 gauge sterling silver stamped with a small guitar so as not to distract from the gorgeous glow of polished sterling silver. The rigidity of a sterling silver guitar pick is also perfect for intense single note work while enjoying the metallic tones that can only be produced by metal plectrums and picks. To minimize string wear, the sterling surfaces have been polished with a fine silicon buffing wheel and edges filed smooth by hand.

The plectrum measures 1.3 inches long by 1.2 inches wide and has a semi round tip. If you are looking for more of a jazz pick with a point or would like a plectrum with a specific geometry, please contact me, as I welcome custom orders for all sorts of picks or plectrums in every metal, shape, size, thickness, and styles. If you've never played with metal picks, the experience can be absolutely rewarding when you hear those metallic tones during fast single note picking.
