Ibanez introduced the AW84 as part of the Artwood series acoustic guitar model in 2023. The AW84 features a dreadnought body shape with a solid okoume top on laminated okoume back and sides with an open pore finish. The round soundhole has a simple black and white acrylic rosette and a black pickguard. The Nyatoh neck has a 20-fret laurel fingerboard with small white dot position markers. Components include a compensated bone saddle in a laurel bridge with black Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, a bone nut, and chrome Ibanez tuning machines.
